911 Axe Throwing Challenge – Community Edition – 2019

Peterborough Paramedics & Beyond would like to invite you to join us in the 911 Axe Throwing Challenge Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 4pm-7pm. This is your opportunity to join forces with our local emergency services (City Police; OPP; City Fire & Peterborough Paramedics) at the Peterborough Axe Club to raise money to aid Peterborough Paramedics & Beyond - Haiti 2019 in their efforts to bring medical aid to the community of Grand Goave and surrounding areas. It is also our plan to help financially support a local nurse and doctor who now work at the clinic.

Will you “Walk with us in Haiti” by organizing a mixed team of 10 co-workers or friends to chuck some steel for a worthy cause?

How does it work?

• 7 teams of 10 axe throwers per team
• One of the team members becomes the team leader.
They will initially sign up their team under the 911 time slot of 4pm-7pm with a team name and pay their $35 online with the Ptbo Axe Club at https://www.ptboaxe.com/911-challenge/
When the team leader has registered the rest of the team members are responsible (10 in total - includes the team leader) to individually register online under their team leader paying their $35 until the 10 spots are filled. There is no registration at the door.

Make every effort arrive 30 minutes before your time slot. The games are expected to last approximately 3 hours. Each player will get at least a minimum of 2 games of throwing 5 axes each game, with the winners moving on to a playoff. Never played before? No worries, it is just for fun, but the Peterborough Axe Club will be providing lane coaches that will help walk you through the throwing process and teach you the basics.
